7 Types of Mirrors for your Home Decor

Mirrors are a necessary component of any home. They assist you in looking your finest before you leave the house for the day. We have a variety of mirrors in various forms and sizes all over your house! If you’re just getting started with mirror decoration, here’s a quick rundown of some of the many types of mirrors you should seriously consider for your home.

A mirror can be purchased with or without a frame, and in a variety of forms and sizes. Mirrors make a room appear larger than it is and easily reflect light. That is why they are such an important decorative item.

Types of Mirrors

Here are seven types of mirrors that you must have in your home!

1. Mirror in the Bathroom
A large bathroom mirror is essential for washing your face and brushing your teeth at night. If you have a small bathroom, choose a thin mirror, or go for a medicine cabinet with a front mirror for more storage space!

2. Mirror in the Hallway
The entryway mirror is your last chance to double-check your outfit and makeup before leaving for the day! If you have the space, a full-length mirror is ideal, but if not, a smaller upper body mirror will suffice!

3. Full-Size Mirror
Personally, I couldn’t live without my full-length mirror in my bedroom! It helps me make sure my outfit looks good together, especially when I’m not sure what bag or shoes to wear with what I’m wearing. My morning dressing routine requires a full-length mirror. You could get a thin one to hang on the back of your bedroom door or closet door, or a larger one with a pretty frame that sits on the floor and leans against the wall.

4. Mirror with a Lean
That brings me to the leaner mirror, which is a must-have in many different types of homes. Consider leaning a mirror against a wall if you have a small space. It will make the room feel much larger, airier, brighter, and more open! From French country to Farmhouse homes, leaning mirrors are having a moment. They usually come with an elegantly designed frame, but you can also find them with a minimal, straight frame if that is more your style.

5. Mirror on the Dresser
Many people choose to maintain a mirror over their dresser so they can put on jewellery and make-up. You may also keep scarves, headbands, and other accessories on your dresser and put them on in the morning with this mirror!

6. Vanity Mirror
If you’re lucky enough to have a vanity where you can do your make-up, you’ll need a well-lit vanity mirror to get ready in the morning!

7. Mirror that can be taken anywhere
Finally, I make sure that I have at least one or two portable mirrors in the house so that I can grab them and dash out the door. Portable mirrors are wonderful for touch-ups on the run and applying lipstick when you don’t have time to do it in the morning!
